We’re helping Aotearoa New Zealand meet its emissions reduction targets through the discovery, development, and deployment of practical and cost-effective technologies and practices for farmers and growers. Our investments and collaborative research respond to Aotearoa New Zealand’s unique farm systems and environments.
We have some of the world’s leading agricultural scientists on our team and we pride ourselves on being a source of trusted information on climate change and agriculture emissions for New Zealand.
We also invest in and manage New Zealand aid and global partnerships projects through the Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases.
Established in 2009, our head office is located in Palmerston North, New Zealand, on the AgResearch Grasslands campus.
We are a core component of the Centre for Climate Action on Agricultural Emissions, and proud to work with AgriZeroNZ, government, Māori, researchers and farmers and other stakeholders and partners across the agri-industry.
