When we first opened our creative agency in Surry Hills way back in 2003 we grew really quickly and enjoyed our fair share of success, including being ranked no.12 in BRW’s Hot 75 Start-ups after just 3 years. Over time we picked up some big clients, turned down a merger deal, then a buy out offer and grew to a mid-sized agency with 25 people. In 2015, we decided bigger wasn't better and work wasn’t as much fun as it could (or should) be. In fact, work was much more fun when we first started, or when we were small.
So we decided to go back to being small and being happy again. We decided to be a 13 year old start-up! Over the next 12 months we downsized and focused on the work we liked doing best and the people we liked doing it for most. And where we wanted to do it from.
Fast forward and wouldn’t you know it, our happy little start-up has grown again! Our business model with a core team of 10 (the size we're happy with) and a long list of regular, long-serving freelance support means our small creative agency can scale up for larger projects.
Over the years our client partners have ranged from local start-ups and SME’s to Government departments, large global and household Australian brands. We will partner with any client on one condition: We treat their team, business and brand with the utmost respect, we simply ask for the same in return.
At the end of the day, we just love doing good work with good people. And as a small independent creative agency, our flexible business model and 'can do' attitude means we can partner with brands of all sizes - from really small to really big, from Newport to New York, from one-off projects to ongoing partnerships.
