MONITORING OF LIFE PROJECTS AND COMMUNICATING ABOUT THE LIFE PROGRAMME LIFE, the EU's financial instrument supporting environmental, nature conservation and climate action projects throughout the EU, has co-financed since 1992 some 4,171 projects, contributing approximately EUR 3.4 billion to the protection of the environment and climate. NEEMO EEIG is responsible for the monitoring of LIFE projects (LIFE Action grants) and of NGOs that receive funding from the LIFE Programme (LIFE Operational Grants). Our team deals also with all the communication aspects of the LIFE Programme. As a legal entity of 9 partner companies spread across Europe, we make the very best use of our resources, providing high standard expertise combined with local knowledge and the necessary language skills. NEEMO partner companies are: AEIDL, ELLE, DAI, IDOM, ILE, Particip GmbH, Prospect C&S, Oréade-Brèche and Timesis. NEEMO took also on board several subcontractors: Ernst & Young, The Ecologic Institute, Technopolis and IMC AG. Our network of ± 150 experts spread over 28 countries is constantly involved in field monitoring activities, in evaluating projects output and accompanying LIFE beneficiaries to comply with the LIFE contractual rules.
