Messiah University is a private, nationally ranked university of the liberal and applied arts and sciences. Our mission is to educate men and women toward maturity of intellect, character and Christian faith in preparation for lives of service, leadership and reconciliation in church and society.
Messiah features a 471-acre campus located in Mechanicsburg, Pa., just 12 miles from the capital city of Harrisburg. With more than 80 undergraduate majors, the college offers a rigorous academic curriculum in a Christian context enhanced by off-campus study, individualized majors, research opportunities, service learning, internships, study-abroad opportunities, and a flourishing College Honors Program. Messiah athletics combine competitive programs with Christian integrity and its teams regularly achieve national ranking and win Middle Atlantic Conference titles. In fact, Messiah is the only college in NCAA history to win dual national championships in soccer in the same year by both men’s and women’s teams — not once but four times!
For recent graduates and professionals, Messiah University offers Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees, as well as non-degree and post-master’s certificates. These programs have been specifically designed to fit the schedule of busy adults and most of the courses can be completed entirely online.
