Save the Children Jordan is a registered Jordanian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1974 with Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Talal as the Chairperson of the Board. Save the Children Jordan is part of and the only Arab member of the 30 Save the Children organization members operating in 120 countries worldwide.
In Jordan, we develop much-needed national programs that focus on creating sustainable results where every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. We work hand in hand with governmental and other NGOs to guarantee children’s access to a better life. We have a strong presence in the refugee camps and focus primarily on building community capacities and offering children the opportunity of a better life.
Our initiatives concentrate on Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Child Poverty and Child Rights Governance.
