The Swedish Ice Hockey Association (SIHA) was established the 17th of November 1922. The SIHA became a member in The International Ice Hockey Federation in 1920. There are 650 ice hockey clubs and 2 500 teams in Swedish ice hockey.There are 62 000 licensed players and referees.
