Now is KLN time!
When first conceived by Steve Christian and Eka Wiharto in 2003, the goal was to build an internet technology company that would change the media content industry in Indonesia. As mobile phone users began reaching critical mass in Indonesia, KapanLagi.com seized the opportunity to provide entertainment content for these individuals.
From its humble beginning as a five-person team consisting of mostly engineers, KapanLagi.com has grown to become one of the largest homegrown Internet companies in Indonesia with 500+ employees today. Along the way, new verticals were created including Bola.net (for sports enthusiasts), Vemale.com (devoted to topics of interest to women), Otosia.com (for automotive fans), and Merdeka.com (our flagship general news site).
In 2014, KapanLagi.com embarked on a new beginning through a merger with Fimela Network, founded by Ben Subiakto and Dian Mulyadi. Fimela Network is a lifestyle beauty network that operates several verticals covering Fimela.com (a glamorous online beauty and fashion vertical), Sooperboy.com (devoted to all aspects of man’s lifestyle), and Muvila.com (for movie enthusiasts).
Combined, this network of popular online destinations is now known as KLN : KapanLagi Network and stand as a symbol for creativity, innovation, and perseverance.
With offices currently in Jakarta, Malang and Yogyakarta, and readership of over 40 millions per month, KLN is only getting started. We believe that great ideas need great people. As such, KLN will continue to groom young talent to give them early opportunities to create something significant and meaningful. This talented workforce along with the firm belief that “Your ideas can change people’s lives” will ensure that the company will continue to grow and make an impact both locally and globally.
Tomorrow must be better than today… in all aspects of life.
