SMART (Self-Management And Recovery Training) Recovery® NYC offers mutual support groups for anyone seeking to abstain from any type of addiction or addictive behavior. Our 4-Point Program® provides tools for addiction recovery based on the latest scientific research. We represent SMART Recovery® in New York City by organizing, scheduling, conducting, and promoting SMART Recovery meetings and other activities. Meetings are free and open. Participants can join SMART Recovery's world-wide community, which includes free, self-empowering, science-based mutual help groups. SMART Recovery® is a volunteer-run self-help mutual support group, not professional therapy.
