MAGWEL offers chip-level 2D/3D simulation and extraction products for analog/mixed-signal, power management, automotive, and RF ICs.
Our tools are able to reduce the design and verification time for mixed-signal and power management ICs. Magwel's products are displayed in showcase pages that you can find next to this LinkedIn page. Make sure to visit them if you want extra information
Leading semiconductor vendors use Magwel tools to extract Rdson and current densities in power devices, verify chip-level ESD networks with non-linear models of ESD devices including snap-back, extract chip-level parasitic Bipolar and resistive models of the substrate, and extract RF parameters of active and passive devices with 3D field solver accuracy.
Our Mission is to provide leading edge 3D simulation and extraction tools for IC's.
The history of our company goes as follows; MAGWEL was founded in April 2003 by Wim Schoenmaker and Peter Meuris based on research done at IMEC. The creation of MAGWEL was motivated by requests to commercialize results from several international and national research projects involving the analysis and simulation of the entire layer stack of a semiconductor structure.
Magwel's products have been silicon validated at leading semiconductor companies on a large number of nanometer process technologies and applications.
