Progressive Business Media was formed in July 2013 to acquire the existing home furnishings brands of Furniture/Today, Home Accents Today, Home Textiles Today, Casual Living, Gifts and Decorative Accessories, Playthings and Kids Today. The company was formed by Matthew Slaine, who is president of FT Media Holdings, parent company of Progressive Business Media. The company is headquartered in Greensboro and also has offices in New York.
