Century’s producing arm presents a range of major events, tours and festivals throughout the year. The experienced, in-house team has worked with a huge variety of performers and presenters from around the globe, promoting tours throughout Australia and beyond.
The company launched the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2005, which has grown to become Sydney’s largest comedy event and a hallmark in Australia’s cultural calendar. The annual Sydney Fringe Comedy festival started in 2011, providing emerging and established comedians with a platform to showcase new material and encouraging Sydney audiences to embrace new comedy.
Since 2014, Century has presented the Perth Comedy Festival, bringing world-class comedy to Western Australia, and with the goal of sharing comedy with the masses outside of Sydney, Century also started the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase Tour in 2013 visiting over 50 regional and metropolitan areas in every corner of the country.
Century plays an integral role in supporting and fostering Australian talent and in 2009, Century Artists was launched. Representing a dynamic group of comedians, writers and performers from all over Australia. Century prides itself on being the industry leader in identifying and developing Australia’s most talented young comedians and working with them to establish their careers.
