The CIMeC - Center for Mind/ Brain Sciences of the University of Trento (Italy) is an interdisciplinary research and teaching center of excellence.
The Center studies the functioning of the brain through the analysis of its functional, structural and physiological characteristics, in both normal and pathological conditions.
CIMeC's international staff has won numerous awards in highly competitive contexts at provincial, national and worldwide levels, including several ERC Starting, Consolidator and Advanced Grants.
In order to investigate the neural correlates of behavior, the center makes use of state-of-the-art neuroimaging methodologies. The CIMeC is made up of various neuroscientific labs dedicated to fundamental and applied research, computational and experimental psychology labs, a Master and a PhD program in “Cognitive and Brain Sciences”.
