Our dedicated emergency services personnel and volunteers work together to deliver comprehensive emergency management when natural disasters and emergency incidents strike.
Together we tackle all that WA has to throw at us. We prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyclones, floods, earthquakes, road crash incidents, search and rescue, structural fires and hazardous material spills. It’s not an easy task.
We can’t do this alone. We are a volunteer-based organisation that is supported by over 26,000 volunteers who generously offer their time and expertise to work with their communities to make them safer. Our volunteers have varying roles, interests and skills, but the one thing that they all have in common is their desire to help keep our State safe.
We believe that by empowering our people, we will create a diverse and capable organisation where we are united and supportive. It’s crucial that as a collective, our employees, our volunteers and the general public have all the tools they need to safely and effectively manage emergency events. We work better together.
