Public Leadership Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan policy and leadership center that aims to raise awareness on key issues of equity and justice.
It creates and distributes research and model legislation on a wide range of issues within local and state policy, including economic opportunity, education, civil rights, healthcare, reproductive justice, and the environment. The organization hosts a network of progressive lawmakers in the country, with over 13,000 elected officials, as well as, local and state-level activists. They communicate with them on a regular basis about policy, legislative models, reports, and polls. It organizes networking events, webinars, workshops, and conferences to link our members, as well as conducts messaging and communications training for policy leaders.
