The Lancaster County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (LCHRA) administer the Housing Choice Voucher program for Lancaster County, support the development and rehabilitation of affordable housing, provides assistance to homeowners to make repairs, and works with municipalities on community and economic development activities. Additionally, the LCRA operates and manages the Land County Land Bank Authority and the Lancaster Redevelopment Fund, and supports the Offices of the Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition and Lancaster County Reentry Coalition.
The Lancaster County Land Bank Authority confronts real estate problems such as vacant, abandoned, blighted, underutilized, and tax-delinquent properties.
The Lancaster Redevelopment Fund is a nonprofit organization which supports economic development activities and programs to revitalize Lancaster County communities.
