Bahamasair is the National Flag Carrier of The Bahamas, established in 1973 along with the new independent Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Its primary mandate is to provide safe and reliable air transportation to and throughout the Islands of The Bahamas. Bahamasair's hub is Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas, and currently provides service to fourteen domestic airports and nine destinations internationally - four in Florida, U.S.A., and five in the Caribbean.
