Founder Gideon Grunfeld served for five years as the Chair of the Law Practice Management Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and is also a former Chair of the Law Practice Management & Technology Section of the State Bar of California. In 2010, he was honored by the Beverly Hills Bar Association with its President’s Award.
Gideon writes extensively about lawyers and law practice. His publications include “A Strategic Approach to Fee Arbitration in California” and “Marketing Legal Services to Sophisticated Business Clients.” He is also one of the authors of the treatise “The California Guide to Opening and Managing a Law Practice,” which was published by the California State Bar.
Gideon has spoken to more than 5,000 lawyers at law firms and at bar associations including the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA), and the state bar associations of California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. His presentations have addressed such issues as networking and fee-setting.
