LIGHT DESIGN Philosophy "Where there is a lot of light the shadow is darker" (Goethe) It is not enough to place a light source where there is darkness to "illuminate" a space; what might seem a natural gesture risks distorting the environment or the place where we intervene, diverting the perception. Each space has its own personality, which must be interpreted; it must convey sensations and favor the performance of the activities for which it was designed and modeled. Light and shadow are components of the same element that the light designer shapes to create suggestions and suggest emotions.
