We are constantly experimenting with different stitches to learn all the possible applications, as of today we collected an archive of over 35.000 different stitches. Lanificio dell’Olivo production capacity is of over 1and ½ millions kilos of yarn a year. We create two full new fashion yarns collection per year. Our raw material supply chain is very short. We travel, directly to the production areas looking for the most noble fibers such as Alpaca, Mohair, silk and the finest wools, cottons and linens. Our fibers are processed in our very advanced spinning mill, equipped with new digital control technology and a series of special mechanical, in-house designed, improvements. Lanificio dell’Olivo has developed a unique know-how in the worsted spinning of noble fibers such as baby alpaca, mohair, silk and the finest wool. The adoption of advanced technologies for processing continuous yarns such as viscose, nylon, tactel and polyester metallic, allows the production of technologically advanced yarns which can create new styles of clothing and new concepts and ideas of knitwear.
