SWS was founded in 1985 and has practiced under its present title since 1998. The firm provides a complete range of civil engineering services covering the entire project cycle from Preliminary Investigation, Feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, Work Supervision, Technical Assistance, and Contract Management. SWS’s success is a direct result of the trust of the clients in its services, this is proven by the long term relationship and continuing work either alone or in association with well-known international firms. SWS’s mission is to provide comprehensive outstanding engineering, environmental and architectural services for the European and international markets. We strive to offer innovative solutions that are technically sound and environmentally correct. The company has a permanent staff of about 50 people of which 25 people in the permanent base, most of them university graduated, specialized in various fields and avails itself of the co-operation of highly qualified experts and external institutes of research at international level. In addition to the many projects undertaken in Italy, SWS has gained extensive overseas experience in the following regions and countries: in Africa (Malawi, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Angola, Cape Verde, Kenya, Libya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Senegal Tanzania, and Zaire), Balkans & Eastern Europe (Albania, Estonia, Hungary, Georgia, Moldova and Montenegro), Central America (BVI, Cuba, Ecuador) and Middle and Far East (Sri Lanka, Nepal, India, Jordan, Philippine and Viet Nam).
