Cezar Projects is a rural development initiative. Based in Chouf and works as a social enterprise since 2017.
The company is developing standard rural –tourism operations and coordinates rural initiatives, in order
to meet sustainability through retaining local talents, creating innovation in sustainable tourism and
generating new sources of income.
In light of the awareness ‘Cezar’s Projects’ is spreading, it is now acting as a facilitator for developing
sustainable initiatives in Chouf villages.
Till now, the project owns and operates the agri tourism project, FarmVille Barouk, while at the same time it partners with and manages other rural initiatives. Including Streeh guesthouse in Brih village, Dar Leila; a Table d’hote in Ain w zein, Shouf Highland; a sunset bar in Ain Zhalta, Maaser Donkey farm in Maaser el Chouf, and a line of rural food products involving 16 local families. In addition, it organizes experiential tour packages that link different rural experiences and bring tourism to local homes. As well launching the adventure tourism department with paragliding activity.
The enterprise is being a reference and inpiration to many youth from the community, which is encouraging them to be more creative and entrepreneurial through direct participation, workshops and volunteering opportunities
