NDF International is one of the leading independent film production companies in the United Kingdom, with a long list of distinguished and award-winning films that includes Naked Lunch, The Crying Game, Howards End, Wilde, Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love, Basquiat, Titus, Chinese Box and Guantanamero, which have helped the company to seventeen Academy Award nominations and many festival and international prizes.
NDF CEO Michiyo Yoshizaki founded the company in 1995, after a successful career as vice president of Nippon Herald Films, one of Japan's largest distributors. Producers Zack Winfield and Ado Yoshizaki in 2004 and set up a new slate of films, carrying on the NDF tradition of working with some of the most exciting directors in the UK and beyond.
Current projects include City of Tiny Lights (d. Pete Travis), The Aura (d. James Marsh), Last Passenger (d.Omid Nooshin), and The Widow (d. Antonia Bird).
The NDF Group also includes NDF Productions which nurtures fledgling British projects and brings new talents to the attention of the international film world, and Tough Monkey Music which offers bespoke soundtrack services for independent films.
