Our Reach
With support from PEPFAR through CDC, Mildmay works in partnership with Ministry of Health and the leadership of 16 supported districts of central uganda;
Over 500,000 people tested per year - 10% children
Over 84,000 people in care with 80% on life saving ARVs
Supports over 16,000 OVCs & their families to access care & other services-economic strengthening .
Reaching over 6,000 Children with HIV; Testing
Over 65,000 pregnant women reached annually
Supporting over 286 salaried health workers in the region; over 5000 trained annually
Cervical cancer screening, treatment and palliation; supported 10 sites across Uganda; supported over 20,000 women to screen to prevent this cancer
