My name is Gavin Hardwicke, founder of GVN Design. I am a draftsman with 25 years’ experience in construction, engineering and architecture. I've experienced life in the large multi-national corporations of Laing O'Rourke, URS and Aecom as well as independent specialists Trent Concrete and Rogers Clarke Lander. The main focus of my career has been precast concrete detailing but having spent time working for civil engineers, structural engineers and architects I have a broad range of knowledge and experience. Since setting up GVN Design I've had more freedom to work on a varying range of projects. Having full control over the finished product means I can provide a bespoke service to each and every client so as to best meet their needs. I provide services in Revit 3D modelling and AutoCAD 2D drafting but throughout my time in the industry have used a variety of 2D and 3D software packages so if you have something specific you need me to use and a spare licence then I’m happy to work with what suits you best. I am based in Derby but work on projects both locally and nationwide.
