The Plank Center works to ensure future leaders possess the knowledge, skills, history, ethics and empathy needed to foster strong relationships between institutions, organizations and those they serve for mutual benefit. Located at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the Center uses a variety of approaches and activities to support its mission. These include awards and recognition programs, scholarships, speaker programs, publications, scholarly and professional papers, workshops and symposia, research grants, and histories and papers of leaders in the field.
