CREATE makes investments in the arts, culture, innovation, and creativity to improve the quality of life in Central Wisconsin. We have focused these efforts on three initiatives: investing in placemaking & public art to connect community to identity, investing in infrastructure & programming to connect innovators to resources, and investing in events & experiences to connect people to community. Each initiative contributes to our overarching goal of making creativity central to our identity in Portage County. MISSION: To develop a more vibrant and engaging community through arts & culture advocacy and creative placemaking.
