Sogetel is the largest independent telephone company in Quebec and maintains half of all independent access lines in the province. It has served Quebec's telecommunications needs for more than 115 years and is still a family-run company.
Sogetel current maintains 32,000 access lines in four different rural areas of Quebec. In the last three years, it has enlarged its landline network by acquiring four
independent telephone companies.
Sogetel is also developing a new market by building out a WiMax wireless network that can provide DSL and VoIP service outside its core service area.
Sogetel also deploy VDSL and FTTH technology to offer triple play service to it's clients.
