Mikks: A Cocktail Revolution Born in Switzerland
The Spark: In 2016 in a top cocktail bar in Zurich, Fabian Gysling, a seasoned chef with experience in the juice industry, met Manuel Vaziri, a highly experienced bartender. The encounter was sparked by Fabian's frustration over the wait time for his cocktail, which led to a pivotal conversation with Manuel.
The Idea: Manuel, with his extensive bartending background, shared with Fabian a vision for a product that could revolutionize cocktail preparation – a mixer that would simplify and expedite the process without sacrificing quality.
The Collaboration: Recognizing the potential, Fabian, with his expertise in creating fresh, natural juices, joined forces with Manuel. They brought in Phlipp Dornbierer, a renowned graphic designer, to complete the trio. Together, in their kitchen, they created Mikks – all-natural cocktail mixers that contained everything but the alcohol, enabling perfect drinks in no time.
The Growth: Mikks quickly gained popularity for its quality and convenience, expanding from a local Zurich, Switzerland favourite to over 15 European markets. This innovation not only transformed cocktail-making in bars and homes but also marked the successful collaboration of a chef, a bartender, and a graphic designer, each bringing their unique skills to create a groundbreaking product.
