Pierre Boulez Saal is an architecturally distinct international concert hall and the public face of the Barenboim-Said Akademie, founded by Daniel Barenboim.
Pierre Boulez Saal has been designed by American architect Frank Gehry. The hall’s acoustics are the work of globally acclaimed acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota. The two have generously donated their services to this project.
Our vision is to bring you closer to many different kinds of extraordinary music in an intimate setting. Spanning the centuries, here contemporary music thrives and naturally co-exists with Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century repertoire. It will be a home for Arab music in Europe and serve as an explorational stage shared by world premieres, jazz, lectures and more.
