Our HÖGL success story began in 1935 with a small shoe craft business in the middle of Upper Austria's Innviertel region. 88 years ago, Josef Högl founded his company with a lot of pioneering spirit and drive. Small but mighty, that was the motto at the beginning of his career as a shoemaker. Since then, Högl has continued to develop. Lived tradition, innovative craftsmanship and pure passion are the essential parameters of success that distinguish HÖGL to this day. HÖGL Shoe Fashion GmbH has been in family hands since its foundation. Together with the comfort shoe brands Ganter and Hassia, the company is a subsidiary of the LORENZ Shoe Group GmbH. Since 2000, Dr. Gerhard Bachmaier has been leading the fortunes of HÖGL Shoe Fashion GmbH as managing partner together with his management team.
