Dodo Pub Co is all about creating space to bring neighbourhoods together and we believe in the unique power that pubs possess to do just that. Our pubs bring people from all walks of life together to eat, drink and be social. Authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, handmade burgers, craft beer to name a few are what we do best. It started with The Rusty Bicycle in 2009, when we found a down-and-out boozer in the back streets of East Oxford and decided to take it on. It stank of stale smoke and old dog and looked like granny’s living room, but what did we know? We shrugged our shoulders and cracked on with the renovation, and the Rusty Bicycle was born. Little did we know at the time, but we stumbled upon an idea. As the local love grew, we began to realise that we we crafting an experience and part of that experience was a sense of place for all those who walked through the door. A few moon’s on, and we now have 7 Pubs, all with firm roots within each and every neighbourhood. Each pub individual in character but connected by the Dodo brand and passion to be the ‘best pub in neighbourhood’.
