Gulf Biopolymers Industries is a new company registered in the United Arab Emirates. Over three years, we shall invest more than 1 Billion AED into Enterprise establishment, Manufacturing, and selling Biodegradable Polymers based on PLA (Poly-Lactic-Acid) portfolio. By doing so, we will be the first producer of this kind in the Middle East. Our project perfectly aligns with trends and regulations in the Middle East regarding waste reduction and environmental pollution. Our Biodegradable Polymer can substitute common fossil plastics, especially – but not only in the large-volume Packaging Industry, which seems to be the major source of plastic waste volumes. Our Purpose: 1. Create labor and local, ecologically sustainable content in establishing a new Hi-biotech industry in the Middle East; 2. Substitute conventional plastics with Biodegradable PLA in the production of single-use bags, bottles, tableware, food packaging, and other short life-cycle and high-volume disposable articles. 3. Supply the agricultural, livestock, and human food industries with organic components for fertilizers, animal nutrition, and human nutrition Gulf Biopolymers Industries is a privately owned company, which will later transform into private and public funding to stem the investment.
