The Ring Boxing Club opened on May 14th, 1910. Originally a chapel, the building had no 90-degree angle where its twelve walls met, ensuring no corners for the Devil to hide in. Although this Devil-defying structure is no more, The Ring was reincarnated in 2003 only 100 yards from the original site. Steeped in the history of its illustrious predecessor.
The Ring today is a formidably equipped facility situated a 3 minute walk from Southwark tube station as well as online training supplier boasting virtual members around the world. The clubs head coach Mark 'The Burf' Burford and his team of former pro Boxers, bring a fun fusion of old school attitudes with modern diet and training methods that work perfectly to both educate and entertain. If you are looking for a really challenging but fun and interactive experience...The gym and the virtual membership offer both in spades.
