History The Real People Group was established in 2001 and is a financial services provider for businesses and homes in South Africa and East Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania). East Africa Operations Real People started its operations in Kenya in 2009 and has expanded to Uganda and Tanzania over the years. Real People’s East Africa network spreads across the various regions in Kenya and is comprised of thirteen satellite offices in Kenya, two branches in Uganda and two branches in Tanzania.
