AI has been successfully operating since the early Seventies and it incorporates two separate structures: Ai Engineering, which is an engineering firm, and Ai Studio, an association of professionals. Ai main office is located in Torino (Italy); it also has operative offices in Tirana (Albania), Palestine and in Malta with the associated Company AiG Malta Ltd. Ai takes a leading role in the various engineering sectors, developing a host of activities including investment plans and feasibility studies, environmental impact appraisal, urban and regional plannings, preliminary / final / construction design, estimate and quantity survey, site supervision, building yard scheduling and assistance, workers safety control and management, project management, project control and construction management. Ai works in multi-disciplined synergy to provide complete technical consultancy in the layout, design and construction of complex projects. Ai has a turnover of more than 11,0 million euro per annum. Ai employs altogether more than 120 people including partners, employees and highly specialised consultants. Ai encourage the expansion of a “green” building culture promoting the application of energy-environmental sustainability certification systems according to the various protocols (LEED, BREEAM, ITACA, etc). Furthermore, Ai Engineering s.r.l. is certified according to the Standard ISO 14001, concerning the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System certified according to the Standard ISO 45001.
