The Hellenic Fertilizer' Association (S.P.E.L) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1995 and based in Athens, Greece. S.P.E.L. represents the manufacture and trade companies in the sector of fertilizers and plant nutrients. S.P.E.L has 51 members, covering 98% of the Greek market. Our member companies’ field of activity is the production, trade, transport and distribution of every type of fertilizer, complying with the requirements of National, European and International laws. The Hellenic Fertilizer' Association focuses its attention on the promotion of the efficient and responsible use of plant nutrients-fertilizers for plant growth, respecting the environment. Having an active role in raising the awareness of our members, the society and decision makers, we organize campaigns, events, workshops, meetings about the needs of Greek agriculture, the role of fertilizers in production and in replenishing nutrients in soils, etc. S.P.E.L also collects information relevant to the Greek fertilizer industry and provide publications and reports of all aspects of the production, distribution and use of fertilizers and plant nutrients.
