Frachtcontor was founded in 1905 by Deutsches Kohlen-Depot (German Coal Depot), a company established shortly after 1900 by a group of leading German shipowners, including Hamburg-American-Line, North German Lloyd, and Rob. M. Sloman & Co. to transport coal to overseas depots for the bunker requirements of steamships.
With over 116 years of experience as a shipbroker and port agent, Frachtcontor employs over 100 people across ten offices, offering a full service to charterers and shipowners around the clock.
