WHINSEC is a Dept. of Defense educational facility at Ft. Moore, GA. With about 230 assigned military and civilian personnel, both U.S. and partner nation, it presents 33-40 iterations of 16 resident courses to more than 1250 students each year. The Institute trains and educate students in leadership in all classes, along with the specific subject matter of the course. It instills professionalism, concern for civil and human rights, the role of the military in democratic societies, and civilian control of the armed forces. Students may come from any country in the Organization of American States. They come for specific courses, and when those courses are done, return to their units. We are open and welcome visitors on any workday.
