Primizie Food is an Italian family-run business that has been offering ingredients and specialities of Italian cuisine for almost forty years.
The cornerstone of our production are certainly the dried mushrooms, which are processed, controlled and packaged in our factories. Dried mushrooms are a very delicate raw
material and for this reason, we personally take care of their selection since the original place.
Porcini mushrooms are one of the best known and used species in the Italian kitchen. However, we also offer other types of mushrooms, a little more sought after, such as chanterelles, morels, yellow foot, shiitake or simply a combination of three or four varieties of mushrooms.
Dried tomatoes are also a point of strength as a result of a careful selection, of an internal production process that is completed with the packaging in our production lines.
Our offer, for a long time already, also includes mushrooms in oil, mixture for polenta, flavourings for spaghetti and ready mixed risotto, honey, candy and a lot of other delicacies.
In recent years, we have also further expanded our references by adding jams, biscuits, chocolate, drinks and liqueurs, sauces, vegetables in oil and other specialities.
Primizie Food has two main reference markets: large-scale distribution and specialized retail. For each of these two markets there is a differentiation in packaging, formats, labelling, etc.
