Air Uganda is a member of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) and has been in operation since November 2007. Air Uganda is also a member of Celestair Group, with sister airlines in West Africa: Air Burkina and Air Mali, and in Europe: Meridian Fly.
In December 2012, Air Uganda attained the highest safety standard in the airline industry, the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Certification. The IOSA program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. The IOSA is the benchmark for global safety management in airlines.

Our growing fleet includes three CRJ-200s, offering both economy and Crane Class service. The interior has been refurbished with leather seats, giving the client comfort on board and ample leg room. The CRJ-200 has 50 seats offering both Crane and economy class service.
