Maastro provides patient care (with radiotherapy) and performs clinical radiotherapy research. Maastro also collaborates with the Radiotherapy Department and the GROW Research School of the Maastricht University Medical Centre (MUMC+) for the further optimisation of cancer treatment through education and scientific research.
