The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is a central knowledge platform for sustainable building. To promote sustainable building, the non-profit organization has established a certification system for the assessment of buildings and urban districts with a particular focus on environmental impact, use of resources, efficiency and user comfort: the DGNB certificate. Our members represent the entire value chain of the construction and real estate industry: architects, planners, the construction industry, investors and scientists contribute their comprehensive know-how to the DGNB.
