Led by Pilar Blasco, Banijay Iberia was formed in 2020, following the merge of Banijay and Endemol Shine. She oversees a portfolio of production labels and creative talent, with Iberia’s main activities spanning Madrid, Barcelona, La Coruña and Lisbon. Across Iberia the footprint includes labels such as Cuarzo Producciones, Diagonal TV, Endemol Portugal, Gestmusic, Magnolia, Shine Iberia, Tuiwok Estudios and Zeppelin. The Banijay Iberia portfolio is behind the best entertainment brands –MasterChef, La Isla De Las Tentaciones, Gran Hermano, Operación Triunfo–, new international IP –Tu Cara Me Suena (Your Face Sounds Familiar), El Puente–, and original scripted titles –Hierro, Heirs to the land, Amar Es Para Siempre, Auga Seca and The Idhún Chronicles–.
Banijay Iberia also participates in DLO Producciones, a company directed by José Manuel Lorenzo, and in Portocabo, directed by Alfonso Blanco.
