It distinguishes itself for its extremely low sodium content (0.2 mg/L), one of the lowest of all mineral waters, for the data relating to pH 8.1 and also for its optimum concentration of good minerals - calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate - indispensable for preserving the body’s daily water/salt balance. Dolomia mineral water stands out due to its high level of dissolved oxygen – 10.5 mg/L – one of the highest values in the mineral water market. The presence of a minimum quantity of nitrates (2 mg/L) and the near-total absence of arsenic (<0.001) prove its exceptional purity. In July 2008, the Italian Ministry of Health recognized Dolomia as being suitable and recommended for newborn babies for the preparation of their formula & foods, including babies who are breastfed.
