RTDI is a consultancy firm especialized in R&D integral management and technology brokering. In the area of R&D management, we offer services related to the definition of corporate portfolios of R&D projects, full building of project concepts and assesment of related technical and estrategic risks (mainly in relation to the future exploitation of results). We also support valuable and sustainable networking at European level and with some countries in Latin America. Finally, we offer our services in relation to obtaining financial aids to the projects from public support programmes. In the area of innovation brokering, we help defining full business models, strategies and plans for the exploitation of R&D results. These services include, if necessary, the evaluation of patents from the technological perspective as well as in relation to their application and market potential. Finally, we intermediate with potential investors, and help designing estrategies for filling up de gap from R&D results to market products, services or industrial processes. We are mainly focussed in ICT, although we work also with certain sectors in the basic industry. As a result of our engagement with helping driving European innovation in ICT, we have created our own R&D Unit, ITRB Labs, in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The aim is to combine the great expertise of its senior researchers, mostly coming from the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UPM) and the National University of Long-distance Education (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, UNED) with the entrepreneurial vision of RTDI. Under the motto "Intelligence in Robotics", the mission of ITRB Labs is to achieve excellence in the area of AI implementing integral R&D and innovation cycles, with particular focus in simulation and expert systems, adaptive control systems and cooperative robots.
