Naviera Armas was founded in 1941 and has become the most important shipping company in the Canary Islands and, after the purchase of Trasmediterranea, the national leader in the sector. It currently has 40 vessels, 28 of which are ferries, 7 fast ferries, and 5 RORO. It provides services to more than 38 destinations, mainly in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Catalonia, the Levante, southern Spain Strait of Gibraltar, Morocco, Algeria and Cape Verde.
