Inspired by the murder of Trayvon Martin in 2012, a young Frankie Gist saw a need for an organization to fight against police brutality, gun violence, homelessness, and other social issues. He founded Helping Hands Foundation to fight against injustice and to spread positivity throughout the community. In 2016 Helping Hands Foundation was renamed Hope Dealers Outreach.
