The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County is one of thirty-four Early Childhood Councils in the State of Colorado. The local Early Childhood Councils provide an efficient, community-based infrastructure to support a statewide early childhood system.
The ECCBC acts as a countywide convener for the Boulder County early childhood community to ensure coordinated and effective efforts to positively impact school readiness for young children in Boulder County.
We develop funding strategies to bring additional resources into Boulder County to support early childhood programs and services.
We impact policy at the local and state level by providing expert testimony and consultation to policy-makers and work to increase public awareness of the importance of the first 5 years of life.
We collaborate with our community to improve the quality of licensed early care and education venues, including centers, family childcare homes and preschools through trainings and coaching services and we organize and provide professional development opportunities and financial incentives programs to our early childcare professional workforce.
We are building brighter futures together.
