The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is an educational service organization, one of 56 such organizations in Michigan, committed to providing a wide variety of quality educational support services and programs to school districts, children, families, and communities within Montcalm County and surrounding areas. Together with the school districts of Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County, and Vestaburg, public school academies and private schools, MAISD coordinates and delivers services and programs designed to improve education in Montcalm County.
MAISD operates 3 categories of programming served by several different departments: General Education, Special Education, and Career and Technical Education (CTE).
