ELMACO was est. in 1957 for the production, distribution, and maintenance of industrial and electrical grids, power transformers, mercury lamps, switches and circuit breakers. The Company.s product portfolio includes power and distribution transformers, alternating current (AC) arc welding transformers, fuses in low and high voltage ratings, power switch gears, isolating dis connector and capacitors in low & medium voltage ratings. In addition, it also provides maintenance services for its products, as well as representing other intl electric power products manufacturers; its key export markets are Arab countries, Malta, Senegal & Nigeria. In Dec. 2010, the company declared that would increase its exports to several Arab countries, including Iraq, Libya & KSA.
